Ms. Carolyn Goding is the president of International
Automated Brokers, a customhouse broker and freight forwarding company, which
began in June of 1984. Prior to starting her own company, Carolyn worked for the
U.S. Customs Service for sixteen years specializing in special programs and
textile entries. Carolyn’s experience working at U.S. Customs has proven
invaluable as a customs broker. Her expertise has allowed her to guide her
customers through the obstacles and complexities of the import/export business.
This expertise has been the cornerstone for the training of IAB’s account
representatives. The company has grown to 32 employees in its San Diego office
and 9 employees in its Tijuana office. IAB’s U.S. offices is situated just a
short distance from the Otay Mesa border crossing and boast a 25,000 square foot
bonded and non-bonded warehouse, and a modern computer network with
communication links to U.S. Customs. The evolution of IAB included the creation
of an in-house cross border trucking company named LAX Freight Services, as well
as having an independent Mexican customs broker on the premises. While working at U.S. Customs Carolyn saw the need for technical
brokers. Carolyn founded IAB to provide support and guidance to the local
import/exporters and assist them with even the most technical issues. IAB
prides itself in providing the best customer service on the Mesa. The success
of International Automated Brokers is attributed to the hard work, long hours, and
the determination of Carolyn Goding and her loyal staff. Click here to go to International Automated Brokers home page |
